R&D Electronic Engineer - Automotive sensor assembly

Our client is a Multinational Manufacturing Company operating in the Automotive field. We are looking for a R&D Electronic Engineer.

Your new role

Reporting to the Manager, the Senior Technology Engineer will work with complex systems, designing, developing, and integrating them at every stage of a project lifecycle.

The ideal candidate can reliably deliver mission-critical solutions that boost accessibility, optimization, and security upon an infrastructure that supports the ever-changing needs of customers.

Any previous experience or knowledge on screen printing technologies, sintering processes Microelectronics applications or Electronics in connection with the development of Print circuit Board in power applications or high temperature applications will be considered a plus.

What you need

The Candidate should have a Master Degree in Chemistry, Physics, Science Materials, Engineering Materials or equivalent.

This person must be a highly skilled problem-solver who has at least 10 years’ experience in development of sensorized circuit embedded, definition of the technology process and related tools.

He/she will be responsible for the following activities:

• managing internal and external development activities, coordinating and defining development plans

• process characterization and definition of in-line process control (Statistical Process Control)

• defining activities plan for the technology transfer and industrialization

• Design Of Experiment: plan, execution and statistical data analysis

• Knowledge of sensor assembly and electronic assemblies (Print circuit Board, electronic components, etc.)
• Systems deposition of complex materials, welding systems in the electronic field
• Thin film and silver sintering processes

• Good statistical and process analysis capability

• prototype manufacturing planning to support on-going R&D and customer activities

• Optimal problem-solving capability (8D-methodology knowledge is a plus)

• Knowledge of Process and Design Failure Mode Effects Analysis

• Knowledge of JMP, Origin and Matlab software is a plus

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

• Attitude to work in laboratory environment (proto, assembly line)
