Our Client is an international company who aims to become a leading energy transition player focused on developing, acquiring and operating biomethane plants.

Thank to massive investment and long term view, We are now growing Italian Team, after several acquisition of Biomethan Plants.
To boost the supply chain, We are now looking for a Business developer.

He/She will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities within the biomethane sector (greenfield project). This role involves working closely with various stakeholders, including agricultural producers, waste management companies, energy providers, and government agencies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in renewable energy, business development, and a deep understanding of the biomethane market.

Responsibilities:
  • Market Research & Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, potential partners, and opportunities for growth in the biomethane sector.
  • Business Development: Identify and develop new business opportunities, including partnerships, joint ventures, and strategic alliances to expand the company’s biomethane operations.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, regulators, and industry associations.
  • Sales & Negotiation: Lead negotiations with potential partners and customers to secure favorable agreements and contracts.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on relevant regulations and policies affecting the biomethane industry and ensure company projects are compliant.
  • Financial Analysis: Develop business cases, including financial models, to support investment decisions and project proposals.
  • Reporting & Documentation: Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in business development, preferably within the renewable energy or environmental sector.
  • Strong understanding of the biomethane market, including production, distribution, and regulatory aspects.
  • Proven track record of developing successful business strategies and securing partnerships.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
