Selection  

Selection is a process of making successive choices. Hays organises this selection process for you: step by step we examine the jointly formulated selection criteria. At the same time there is a constant focus on advocating and presenting a positive picture of your organisation. Candidates will also select an employer that fits their wishes and needs.

Your consultant combines various selection instruments, including:

  • CV - and letter selection: selection based on education, experience, career structure, etc.. Competence interviews: to further address issues like expertise, work methods, interaction with others, interpersonal skills, personality, motivation and ambition
  • High-quality tests: depending on the sector, Hays uses specific tests to validate the candidates’ level in accounting, commercial and technical skills. Job requirements - personality, immune to stress, speed/accuracy, sales capabilities, financial knowledge, management or organisational qualities - are also determined on the basis of high-quality in-depth testing
  • Introduction interview with the employer: on the basis of a sound advice, you will meet the most suitable candidates. General atmosphere and the personal ‘click’ play an important role.
